MyStarCraft.de: You have played in nearly every Hauppauge-cup. What do you think about the tourney?
JF: Excellent tourney, and the reason I keep playing it, is because it's so challenging, and I refuse to give up without winning at least one Hauppauge Cup. There are always many skilled foreigners playing, so I would recommend it to anyone who wants great games!
MyStarCraft.de: Now that you have won one, will you continue playing?
JF: Yes, definitely,
MyStarCraft.de: Did you expect to win this tourney?
JF: Well, at the start of every tour, you need confidence and you need to tell yourself, "I will win". This tour was no exception. I felt confident and I finally won.
MyStarCraft.de: Congratulations to that! Who / what was you hardest opponent / game in this cup?
JF: I would say the hardest game was game 1 of the semi finals [Zocki.T-ScT-] He scouted my proxy robo really quickly and deflected my shuttle from entering his base, it was a tough fight. It made me sweat.
MyStarCraft.de: I really thought you would lose that game after you lost your first shuttle.
JF: Yes, me too.
MyStarCraft.de: You´re from Canada, so the cups starts really early in the morning for you. At what time does it start over there and would you want it to start a little later?
JF: It starts at 8 AM in Toronto. I usually wake up at 7:30 AM on the weekdays for school, So waking up for Hauppauge tourney is no big deal for me. However I think many other Americans cannot play due to time issues; maybe move Hauppauge 1 hour later.
MyStarCraft.de: There have been many complaints about the organization (i.e. [the mappack]) or the admins, would you personally wish for any changes, like, say, fewer maps?
JF: I think the amount of maps is fine, but we should be using new maps [from the] Korean scene. For example Andromeda, Wuthering Heights, Colosseum... [and so on], Taking out old maps like Gaia would be good as well, but it's just my opinion. I'm sure the audience and players wouldn't want to see the same maps played week after week. Admins are excellent, no need to change that.
MyStarCraft.de: Ok, that would be all for today. Thanks for that interview, I hope you will play many more cups. Anything you might like to add or say to everyone out there?
JF: Thanks for the tourney, and I will try to win another one soon xD
